Tasting :
Juicy notes of plum, blackcurrant and blackberry with hints of sweet spices - cinnamon, clove and star anise - remind us of Christmas and heady mulled wine. Two years of oak maturation and four years of bottle ageing add elements of bitter chocolate, cigar box and forest floor, with rich, smooth tannins.

Venison, rich stews, curry, strong hard cheese, bitter dark chocolate.
