Tasting :
Full, brilliant garnet-red color. The nose is clean, clear and complex, with notes of rose, fine tobacco, mint, sweet spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, and licorice. On the palate, it’s enveloping, warm, full-bodied, revealing fresh spices and red fruits with pleasant tannins brought by 36 months in large casks. Pleasant return of fruit on the finish.
Wine Pairing :
Accompanies starters and game sauces, roasted red meats and wild boar stew. Long-ripened hard cheeses, bloomy or blue-veined cheeses.
