The Glantenay estate is a small family winery and was established four centuries ago in the region of Volnay. Since then, fathers and sons of the Glantenay family have passed on the winemaking profession to succeeding generations. Today, the vineyard’s surface area is approximately 8 ha, extending across regional appellations (Bourgogne, Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, Bourgogne Aligoté), ‘Village’ appellations (Volnay, Pommard) and ‘Premiers Crus’ appellations (Volnay, Pommard and Puligny Montrachet).

The Glantenay estate remains very discrete in the promotion of its wines, which are only produced in limited quantities, and of which there are never enough to satisfy the consumer demand. Over the decades, the reputation of this estate established itself through word-of-mouth communication, and the quality of Glantenay wines remains mysterious and secretive. A must-try!
